PHOTOGRAPHY USING A SMARTPHONE

Gain confidence in using your camera phone for creative image making.
Marcello will share the basic concepts of photography (including composition and lighting), teach some editing skills (using an app) and explore the power of storytelling through your lens.
This workshop will give you all the tips you need to take top quality photos with your phone, enabling you to submit some stunning shots.
Marcello Bentana – Photographer
Marcello Bentana is a Congolese photographer who has lived in Wodonga since 2019. With a passion for storytelling and community development, Marcello decided to use the power of an image to communicate with the world, and studied film and photography. After graduating he joined the International Citizenship Service and covered humanitarian stories in Kenya, as well as working for the Refugee Service and The Federation of Congolese Abroad in Communications.
Since arriving in Australia, Marcello was worked for AWECC, MAMA and Headspace on community, film and photography projects, and is a guest storyteller in Neighbour. Marcello runs his own photography brand called Capture Sacree.
